Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, offering insights and analysis to aid decision-making.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring they align with business objectives and financial targets.
  • Conduct financial forecasting to predict future trends and support strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead and mentor a finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing accounts, with strong skills in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering effective relationships across the business.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) are highly desirable.
