Sonic Summary

Our client, located on the outskirts of Maidstone, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.
The role involves supporting the Financial Director by providing accurate financial information and commercial support to the business.
Candidates should be formally qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or strong finalists with proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally with experience in the construction industry.
The position offers a salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience and requires the successful candidate to have a full driving license.
This is a site-based role with responsibilities including month-end processes, budget preparation, and financial reporting to senior management.

To support the FD in the provision of accurate, timely and relevant financial information and provide commercial support to the business.

Client Details

Our client based on the outskirts of Maidstone are seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis. This position is site based Monday to Friday and due to their remote location requires the successful candidate to have a full driving license.

Description

Completing various elements of the month end process, including analysing and investigating variances to forecast and budget, calculating month-end adjustments and reviewing activity for potential mistimed transactions.
Lead to the preparation of the consolidated annual budget and cash flow forecast for the Group.
Manage the statutory audit process, liaising with auditors and compiling the statutory audit working papers for submission.
Preparation of financial reports and presentation thereof to senior management.
Play a key part in delivering financial / reporting automation and systems development.
Investigating/ identifying improvements to financial reports on an ongoing basis.

Profile

Formally Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or a strong finalist looking to complete exams
Proven experience as a Management Accountant
Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient IT skills - MS Excel / SAGE / Power BI
Previous experience within the construction industry is advantageous

Job Offer
