Intruder Service / Small Works Engineer

About the Role:An NSI Gold-accredited provider specialising in security solutions is seeking a skilled Intruder Service / Small Works Engineer to join their team. This role involves the installation, servicing, and maintenance of security systems, including Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Alarms, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Service and maintain Grade 2-3 Intruder Alarm systems.
- Respond to callouts and handle emergency repairs efficiently.
- Install Dual Path Signalling units.
- Organise daily tasks and coordinate with office and field colleagues.
- Report directly to work sites, with occasional office attendance.
- Demonstrable experience in servicing Intruder Alarm systems.
- Competence in handling callouts to NSI standards.
- Familiarity with Dual Path Signalling units and Grade 2-3 systems.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Effective communication for collaborating with team members.
- Primary: London, Kent, Essex
- Occasional travel to sites outside the primary working area
- Minimal out-of-hours emergency callouts (8-10 per year).
- Paid from departure to return home at a competitive rate.
- Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
- Callout Standby Allowance
- Company Vehicle & Fuel Card: Provided
- PDA: Provided for work-related tasks
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Flexibility for additional hours as needed
- Note: Travel to and from first and last appointments is outside standard working hours.
