Supplier Technologist Overview
The Supplier Technologist role offers a unique opportunity to work with an impressive portfolio of suppliers across a diverse range of product categories within the Fresh Produce sector, spanning multiple countries.
This position is with a business that operates across various sites and locations globally, ensuring suppliers meet both food safety and ethical standards. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, manage the groups auditing schedules, and play a key role in maintaining ongoing compliance across a wide range of fresh produce suppliers.
Supplier Technologist Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a clear understanding of expectations and compliance requirements
- Ensure all relevant documentation and audit details are communicated effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Supplier Auditing team to communicate audit requirements
- Maintain supplier packhouse due diligence and traceability documentation
- Manage data through customer technical platforms and internal databases
- Report on non-conformances and corrective actions
Supplier Technologist Key Requirements
- Proven experience in the Fresh Produce or Food related sectors, particularly in Auditing, Food Safety, or Supplier management
- Familiarity with Packhouse Auditing and Due Diligence processes
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong data management and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (Prophet ERP is a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Salary: up to 35k + Bonus + Company Benefits
