Role Description:

Our client is a dynamic and growing company providing commercial cleaning service excellence to businesses across London and the South, and they now have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to join their Team in Kent. As Area Manager, you will be responsible for approximately 25 sites consisting of Educational contracts, supporting cleaning teams across multiple sites to ensure the delivery of high standards and customer satisfaction. The ideal Area Manager will ideally have proven experience in a similar setting or in cleaning management, with strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support cleaning teams across multiple sites

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction

  • Conduct site visits, audits and compliance checks

  • Manage staff recruitment, training and performance

  • Oversee stock control and ordering of cleaning supplies

  • Build strong client relationships and address any service concerns

  • Monitor budgets, schedules and operational efficiency

  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning management or a similar role

  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple locations and teams effectively

  • A customer-focused approach with high attention to detail

  • Knowledge of cleaning industry standards and health & safety requirements

  • Full UK driving license (travel between sites required)
