Facilities Coordinator

Maidstone – outskirts

c. £30k - £40k DOE

My client is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join their well-established team, based just outside Maidstone, Kent.

This role is best suited for someone with a strong background in heavy industry manufacturing, particularly with experience working with a variety of machinery.

You will be responsible for maintaining the good condition and infrastructure of the site, ensuring that facilities and equipment are safe, and that all checks, tests, and repairs are scheduled and completed. Additionally, you will be tasked with documenting all work and serving as the on-site representative for all contractors.

Duties for this role will be varied but include:

  • Responsible for maintaining stock: catering, stationery, hygiene and washroom, PPE
  • Supplier management: contractors, cleaners, hired equipment
  • Ensuring timely servicing and maintenance of equipment, working with the Maintenance Engineers
  • Accurate document management and record keeping ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Overseeing all repairs and maintenance of the building and site
  • Responding to any internal queries regarding facilities

To be a contender for this Facilities Coordinator role you will have:

  • Experience working in a Facilities based role within a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience in facilities management
  • NEBOSH general certificate would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A meticulous attention to detail with first class communication and organisation skills
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency using MS Office
