The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Group is delighted to have been retained, to lead the search for a new Service Centre Manager, for Husqvarna's South East depots, for its Construction Division.  The new hire will be based from the Maidstone site and will also hold responsibility for the Basildon site.About Husqvarna Construction:This division is a leading manufacturer of innovative equipment and diamond tools within the light construction industry and diamond tools for the stone processing industry.  The Maidstone site provides servicing and aftersales solutions, predominantly for the larger contractor direct products, such as demolition robots.  The Basildon site provides servicing and aftersales solutions, predominantly for the diamond tools products, such as diamond blade re-tipping.Role Profile:
  • Providing strong leadership and people management across the two sites.
  • Operational responsibility and ensuring efficient service delivery and planning, through the implementation and development of effective systems and processes.
  • Health and safety and compliance accountability.
  • Assessing the validity of warranty claims.
  • Technical involvement and support of staff with technical guidance on repairs and maintenance.
  • Managing customer relationships as required.
  • Working towards service centre sales and performance targets.
  • 75% operational, 25% commercial.
Person Specification:
  • A technical background with an understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and engine systems.
  • A technical servicing sector background.
  • An aftersales / commercial skillset, with experience of working towards revenue targets.
  • Comfortable operating in a physically demanding role, as required.
  • A track record of successful people management of service engineers.
  • Commutable to Maidstone.
