Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, and we are currently working closely with an independent and long-standing provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella Management services. They are recruiting in the South East region for a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites, carrying out various L8 monitoring services alongside deadleg removals, and removing, replacing and rerouting of copper / PVC pipework. For the successful candidate, our client can offer training and progression including cross training in other environmental sectors, company pension scheme, excellent holiday allowance, and company vehicle.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Tonbridge, Croydon, Tonbridge, Canterbury, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley, Haslemere, Horsham, Southend-on-Sea, Brentwood, Maldon, Chelmsford, Cheshunt, Harlow, Braintree, Bishop's Stortford.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the L2 or higher in NVQ / City and Guilds plumbing.
" Experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company, working as a Water Hygiene and / or Remedial Engineer.
" Confident using onsite logbooks.
" Organising work load in line with company and client needs.
" Will have a good work ethic and will be polite and professional.
" In depth knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

The Role:
" Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" Carrying out CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Deadleg removals.
" Visiting site to carry out fault finding.
" TMV testing, servicing, installing, and replacing.
" Failsafe servicing.
" Carrying out pipework removal, installing and re-routing (copper & PVC).
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Showerhead descales.
" Carrying out work in line with HSG 248 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks correctly upon completion of work.
