People Advisor - Fixed Term Contract (12 months) | £31,500 pa | Kent | Charity | immediate start

The role involves traveling 2-3 times a week, primarily around the Bromley and Bexley areas, with occasional trips to Hastings and SE London.

Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Must be access to a car and drive

As a People Advisor, you will provide essential HR support across a range of areas, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with employment law and company policies. You will support line managers in managing the workforce effectively and efficiently, ensuring all processes align with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to managers on employee relations issues such as discipline, grievance, absence, and performance management.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, from drafting job adverts to conducting interviews and supporting onboarding.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed, offering advice to managers on all aspects of employment.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR reporting.
  • 2 years HR advisory experience is essential this is not a step up role
  • DBS check will be part of the process
