Sonic Summary

Staffing Match is seeking 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers for a long-term, temp-to-perm position in Snodland, starting in 2025.
The role offers shifts with a pay rate of £17.81 per hour through PAYE umbrella or £14.50 per hour through PAYE, with a schedule of 5 days on and 3 days off.
Candidates must possess a 7.5t license, CPC, and Digi card, along with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Heavy lifting is required, and applicants must pass a DBS and drug and alcohol test prior to starting, with no more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications.

7.5t / HGV 2 Driver
Location: Snodland

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Basingstone who are looking for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis. Start your new job in 2025!

Shifts and pay rates as a 7.5t driver:

Days 07.00am start until finish.
Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling. (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
£17.81 P/H paye umbrella.
£14.50 P/H paye

Your responsibilities:

Duties include driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver.
2-man crew delivery of goods to customers' homes or flats.
Unloading goods and delivering to room of choice.
Completing paperwork.
Heavy lifting is involved.

About you:

Have a 7.5t licence or above, CPC and Digi card.
Have excellent customer service & communication skills.
Be able to work long days as required. We cannot specify what time you will finish.
You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start, we will arrange this.
No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's.
