Senior IT Security Officer

Eames consulting are partnered with one of the UK's leading Healthcare organisations who are looking for a Senior IT Security Officer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract:

- Hyrbid Working (must be UK based and have full UK right to work)

- 6 Month contract (on going project)

- £650-£700 per day OUTSIDE IR35

Duties Include:

• Collaborate with UK COO and project teams to manage security aspects of strategic projects, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget
• Deliver UK security projects, enhancing controls and mitigating new risks
• Provide expert security advice on business goals and plans beyond the CTO team
• Design secure, measurable solutions (e.g., Coverage, Quantity, Quality) that transition smoothly into Business as Usual
• Assist with risk assessments of group and 3rd party tools and platforms
• Offer technical consultancy on 3rd party risks for specific solutions
• Act as a subject matter expert for the business and security team
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and recommend proactive solutions

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in information security, implementing security controls across a range of technologies (e.g., Security Architect, Security Project Lead)
• Strong customer focus, ensuring stakeholder needs are met
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies
• Knowledge of information security risk management and best practices
• Organized, detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to resolve conflict and negotiate
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify key issues quickly

Desirable:

• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security qualifications
• CEH, OSCP, GIAC, or experience in penetration testing
• SABSA, SANS, or other technical architecture certifications
• Agile experience (e.g., SAFE, Scrum)
• Background in Data Protection, Risk, Legal, or HR fields
