I'm working with a dynamic and innovative company operating in the SaaS sector. They specialize in SaaS applications designed to streamline operations for businesses in the healthtech industry. Having raised significantly to date, and with another successful fundraising round expected before the end of the calendar year, they are poised for significant growth.

The Role:

They are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their team and lead their technological vision and strategy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of their company and play a pivotal role in their journey. As CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, driving innovation, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's technological vision and strategy.
  • Lead and mentor a growing team of developers and engineers.
  • Oversee system design and architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Work closely with other departments to align technology with company goals.
  • Occasionally engage in hands-on coding to address critical issues or implement key features.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure security and compliance across all technological aspects of the company.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the tech team and across departments.
  • Represent the company in technical discussions with stakeholders, investors, and clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within a startup or scaleup environment.
  • MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A STARTUP/SCALEUP WITHIN SAAS/FINTECH/HEALTHTECH, ALONG WITH AIDING WITH FUNDRAISING, EXIT ETC
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and deliver results.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus, but not essential.
  • Based in the UK with the ability to work remotely and travel occasionally for team meetings.
