KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer to cover East Sussex and Kent, with a salary range of £30,000 to £37,000 plus an excellent bonus scheme that can add up to £10,000 OTE.
This full-time, permanent position requires candidates to hold a recognized Assessor award or a Level 3 Teaching qualification.
Ideal applicants should have experience delivering Level 4 or Level 5 Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare and must have held a Deputy Manager role or higher in a relevant setting.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Residential Childcare, along with a Level 3 qualification in the field, is essential for this role.
Candidates must possess a full, clean UK driving license, have access to their own vehicle, and be flexible with travel.

Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, at Level 4 or Level 5.
Must hold strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above, within a Residential Childcare setting.
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assessand support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, at Level 4 or Level 5 (depending on competency).
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
