We are seeking a Building Surveyor for our Folkestone based client, you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections and assessments of buildings and properties, providing expert advice on construction, maintenance, and repair projects, and preparing comprehensive reports for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of buildings and properties to assess their condition, identify defects, and evaluate structural integrity.
  • Providing expert advice on building regulations, construction methods, and materials to clients.
  • Preparing detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and cost estimates for repair and maintenance work.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to develop and implement construction and renovation projects.
  • Managing and overseeing construction projects to ensure compliance with building regulations and client requirements.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in building surveying.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a Building Surveyor in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using surveying tools and software.
