Sonic Summary

The role of Building Surveyor is available within a multi-disciplinary firm of Chartered Surveyors located in Kent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering various professional and project services, including planned/reactive maintenance and defect analysis.
Candidates should ideally have MRICS Chartered status, but this is not essential depending on their experience, and they should possess sound commercial awareness and excellent time management skills.
Experience of managing client communications and drafting technical documents is required, while knowledge of Health & Safety requirements is also important.
The position offers a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 and requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

The Role Building Surveyor within a multi-disciplinary form of Chartered Surveyors in Kent.

With Building Surveying skills in most service areas; the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional and project services.

Working across all sectors, the role will involve the undertaking of an array of building surveying services; in particular: -  Planned/Reactive Maintenance  Defect Analysis  Pre-Acquisition Surveys  Dilapidations  Party Wall Maters  Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments  Bank Funded Construction & Development Monitoring  Contract Administration  CDM Co-Ordination Project Management

The Person 

MRICS Chartered status preferred, but not essential depending on experience  Experience of managing and communicating with clients.  Sound commercial awareness  Sound knowledge & experience of drafting technical documents.  Sound knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements  Excellent Time Management, Punctuality & Commitment 

Experience of CAD use and Design Work desirable but not essential
