Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee and manage the commissioning process for our projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems, facilities, and equipment are fully tested, operational, and meet the highest standards before handover to the client in accordance with NSI regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the commissioning of systems and handover to clients.
  • Carry out servicing, preventive maintenance, and technical support for fire alarm systems.
  • Take a hands-on approach to integrating fire alarm systems on-site, working alongside the project team.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing technical support and assistance.
  • Perform surveying tasks and contribute to system quotes and design.
  • Conduct fire inspections and manage the maintenance and operation of necessary equipment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • FIA or equivalent training.
  • Comprehensive understanding of British Standards related to Fire Alarms and Refuge systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in fire alarm system maintenance.
  • Strong commitment to delivering a professional service with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Working Area:

  • London, Kent, Essex (with occasional travel to sites outside this primary area)

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Additional hours may occasionally be required to meet company obligations
