Our Client is a privately owned company operating for over 30 years with a wealth of experience within the industry through our team of engineers. Currently employing over 25 personnel across the range of disciplines we operate in.

They are looking to employ an experienced CNC machinist to operate a CNC Lathe, manufacturing special components as well as small batches circa 5s to 20s. Applicants need to be fully conversational in ISO (Fanuc) programming language.

This engineer should have a good knowledge of general machining practices and have experience in programming machines with multi station head tooling, live tooling and preferably be able to operate a selection of manual milling machines to support the needs of the wider machine shop. Experience in planning workloads/component loading is essential to deliver components as needed to our engineering workshop or as per customer requirement working with the production management team to ensure a good level of machine optimisation. The ability to design and manufacture fixtures for work holding would also be advantageous.

An eye for detail and ability to work to highest level quality is a must for this professional position within our company.
