CNC Operator

Our client our looking for a CNC Operator to join their company who are at an exciting time of expansion! As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components and parts using state-of-the-art computer numerical control (CNC) machinery.
Duties include:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup, tool selection, and programming requirements.
- Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment for accurate machining.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to maintain quality standards and productivity.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions or programming errors.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and achieve production targets.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Ability to set up machines and select appropriate tools and materials.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
