Your new companyA leading Kent-based housebuilder with multiple live projects across the region now seeks an experienced senior site manager to join the award-winning team.Working-across a mixture of private and ha schemes projects are typically large multiphased developments incorporating both Houses and flats. With an extremely busy year coming up alongside several new schemes starting immediately, a vacancy has arisen for a senior manager to oversee a new phase on a flagship development in East Kent. The project is a multiphased ongoing scheme due to run for many years. The new phase is over 100 units and includes several apartment blocks of both RC and traditional build types as well as some traditional houses.Your new roleAs senior site manager, you will be part of a larger team of 5 reporting to a site-based Project director. You will be No.1 on the new phase overseeing delivery from groundworks through to final handover. You will be overseeing a direct team of 2 initially. You will have direct responsibility for H&S, short-term programming, subcontract management/sequencing & quality control, as well as ensuring the smooth day to day running. You will hold regular meetings with the project director reporting on progress and highlighting any issues.What you'll need to succeedYou will be an experienced senior site manager with a clear background of working for National or regional housebuilders. You will be comfortable with RC frame & traditional build construction and have previous experience of managing 100+ unit phases. Interested candidates will need Valid SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS along with a supplementary construction qualification.
