Excellent opportunity to lead multi-disciplined design teams and various projects being released by the AMP8 frameworks.

Locations: Either Maidstone or Chichester

Hybrid - 3 days in the office / 2 days at home.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 basic

The Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing UK Engineering consultancy. With a core market in the Utilities, Energy and Environmental sectors, focusing on Civil, MEICA, Process, BIM and Project Management. Working with Clients and Tier 1 contractors on both frameworks and project-specific programmes under Capex.

The Role:

The Resolute Group has been retained to identify and secure a Design Project Manager (Senior / Principal consultant) to support the AMP8 framework for either Southern Water or South East Water as this client supports both clients.

This role is working with both the consultancy and delivery teams, undertaking the technical assurance over the design process for both Clean and Wastewater schemes on behalf of the client. Working with key stakeholders from both a technical aspect, reviewing the designs against the client's expectations and industry standards. As well as from a build-a-ability standpoint, getting the contractor's input to ensure the final design meets the standards and sign-off from the relevant stakeholders.

Coming from a design background is key, be it Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering. This is so you fully understand the process and have the technical knowledge to undertake the assurance process. This could be from either a Consultancy, Client or Contractor but design knowledge is key.

The role is flexible with you working either with Southern Water in there offices or South Eastern Water depending on your location. This would be 3 days a week in the office so you need to be living in the South East of England to be considered for this position.

Qualifications: -

  • Minimum - Degree in either Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering.
  • Ideally Chartered or almost Chartered status
  • Full driving licence.
