VIQU have partnered with a sport organisation who are seeking a Project Manager. This role will work to support the Programme Manager in the delivery of Strategic Programmes.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects, ensuring that objectives are met within the agreed scope, budget, and timelines. The Project Manager will work to define project goals, allocate resources, and establish clear timelines. You will work to conduct feasibility assessments and act as the primary point of contact for project updates. The successful Project Manager will also manage resource allocation, ensuring roles are clearly defined, and will address any risks or issues, escalating when necessary. Regular progress reviews will be conducted to track costs and risks, while continuously improving processes by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.

Experience Required of the Project Manager:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager, delivering projects of varying scope and complexity. 
  • Experience working in the automotive/motorsport industry.
  • Proven ability to manage shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and changing demands in an organised and objective manner. 
  • Hands-on experience with Waterfall project management methodology. 
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project. 
  • Expertise in managing complex project portfolios and leading multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Experience in delivering projects within engineering/manufacturing sectors. 
  • Strong background in working within a fast-paced environment. 
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. 
  • Solid understanding of Power BI.
  • Knowledge of PMO functions within a business. 
  • APM PMQ certification (desired).
  • APMP qualification (desired).
  • MSP certification (desired).
