My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Architectural Practice which specialises in Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join an established team based in Kent.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans and Drainage Strategies.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Drainage Designs using Microdrainage.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join and grow a Flood Risk Team in Kent. You will be supported by an experienced team to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2 and 3.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies.

-Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Designs for S104 and S106 using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.

-Drainage Area Planning.
