We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join a friendly finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is methodical, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses strong communication skills.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage your own debtors ledger to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Perform credit control activities via phone and email.
- Allocate payments accurately and deal with customer queries effectively.
- Conduct credit checks and assess credit limits.
- Liaise with internal colleagues to resolve any invoice queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Proven experience in credit control.
- Strong ability to collect payments from debtors.
- Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Word.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work methodically and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- Training will be provided on the bespoke cash allocation system used by the company.
