CUSTOMER RETURNS CO-ORDINATOR (AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR)SOUTH DARENTH, KENT £26,000 BASIC SALARYPERMANENT ROLERole Overview:Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment are presently representing a global leader in the field of manufacturing for the automotive sector in their search for a Customer Returns Coordinator. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the Customer Returns process. This role is responsible for performing the inspection of returned goods working closely with Customer services, Warranty and Warehouse teams and supporting internal and external customers..Key Accountabilities:

  • To manage Customer Returns in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring performance targets are met.
  • To receive customer returned product and check contents against the Sales Order Return (NCP).
  • To check Sales Warranty validity and liaise with Customer Services to resolve discrepancies.
  • Resolve discrepancies in information supplied in the NCP.
  • Ensure that unwanted returns are dealt with according to process, performing quality control and basic level investigation checks where needed.
  • Maintain records correctly both on company warehouse management system (BC) and Excel.
  • Report progress of returns to Warranty, Customer Services and Accounts departments.
  • Managing scrapping of returns including warehouse management system transactions, storage and physical handling.
  • To investigate complaints that related to returns issues and delays while resolving them in a timely fashion
  • Manage physical item in accordance with requirements of Quarantine process.
  • Support the supervision of on-site rework events.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering, Quality, and customer service departments to ensure proper analysis and documentation of warranty claims

Person Specification

  • Minimum of 2 year's practical experience in a customer returns department dealing with electronic equipment.
  • Previous experience in Warehouse and/or stock control management
  • Data inputting using Warehouse management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail in planning, execution, and follow-through.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and driven.
  • Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours when required
