SQL Database Administrator (DBA)
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months (35 hours/week)
- Location: Hybrid 2 days a week in Maidstone
- Pay: £500-550 Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
- SQL Server Management: Oversee the performance, data integrity, and management of SQL Server environments. Handle capacity planning, security, performance tuning (including ETL and stored procedures), and troubleshooting.
- Reporting & Data Handling: Manage reporting and data requests, and provide expertise on SQL, ETL, and database development.
- Change Management: Ensure compliance with change management practices and maintain updated documentation.
- Collaboration: Work with IT teams on backup, disaster recovery, and collaborate with third parties on data structure changes.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong experience with SQL Server administration.
- Proficiency with GIT source control.
- Knowledge of Azure PAAS, Azure Availability Groups, and data migration from On-Premise to Azure.
