We are excited to announce the opening of a new nursery in Lenham and are currently seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants who, although not yet qualified, have some experience working with children. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about child development and seeking to advance their career in early years education.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of fun and educational activities.
  • Help create a safe and stimulating environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Support the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times and nap times.
  • Engage with children to encourage learning through play.
  • Work collaboratively with qualified staff to ensure the health and safety of all children.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Some experience working with children, in any capacity.
  • Strong desire to learn and pursue a qualification in childcare.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance from qualified practitioners.
  • A caring and patient nature, with a genuine interest in child development.
