Electrical/Electronics Engineer | Leeds | £38,000 - £40,000 | Onsite

This company is a world leading provider of asset monitoring solutions for precision measurement in extreme environments, providing bespoke solutions providing predictive analytics to improve asset performance.

Their solutions often monitor the condition of train parts, such as wheel bearings, brakes, and engines, which allows operators to detect potential issues early on and maintain a higher level of safety and reliability. By providing real-time insights and data analytics, this company supports companies in making data-driven decisions to optimise their operations.

They are now looking for an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to join their team and support new and existing workload.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assemble hardware for systems
  • Perform tests on systems to validate quality and performance levels
  • Manage inventory accuracy and storeroom discipline
  • Install, service and maintain company products on varying sites
  • Support team projects as and when required 
  • Creating / design of documentation for electronic/hardware design.
  • Preparation of technical lead documents for tech reviews for projects for which is tech lead.
  • Participation in weekly/daily team technical meetings.
  • Supporting the project manager by providing accurate time estimates on projects and product costings.
  • Supporting customers with technical requests as guided by the project, engineering or operations manager.
  • Working in a safe manner, taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work, following appropriate Health and Safety guidance, training and company rules and procedures as appropriate.
  • Reporting any accidents, hazards or dangerous / unsafe behaviour to your line manager immediately.
