My client is a leading M&E contractor seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join the team in a permanent role. Specialising in commercial and industrial MEP installations, predominantly carrying out electrical design, installation and commissioning. They offer a range of services including building, electrical, plumbing and maintenance, working on unique commercial and industrial projects.

Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
  • Manage the preparation of project plans, risk assessments and health and safety documentation
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost control and forecasting
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective project management
  • Plan and monitor project resources, including labour, materials and equipment
  • Lead and mentor project teams
  • Identify and analyse any project issues and develop solutions to ensure project success
  • Organise and lead electrical projects from concept to completion
  • Develop project plans and ensure timely completion of jobs
  • Manage budgets, resources and personnel to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates. Report project progress to senior management

Electrical Project Manager Requirements:

  • ECS 18th Edition Gold Card
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Background in Commercial/Industrial Electrical Installation and Electrical Control Systems
  • Ability to understand electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BoQ's, BoM's with a good understanding of electrical standards
  • Ability to complete Tender submissions and complete PQQ's to a high standard
  • High attention to detail and strong business acumen's to understanding project costs
  • Excellent IT Skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willing to develop and learn new skills with on and off the job training
