Job Title: Full Protection Engineer
Location: Primarily London, with occasional travel as far north as Liverpool/Manchester
Overview:
We are working with a leading provider of safety solutions for buildings across the UK. This company specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of safety wire and abseiling systems designed to ensure safe building maintenance and access.
We are seeking an experienced Full Protection Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a challenging and rewarding environment while delivering high-quality safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of safety wire systems and abseiling systems.
- System Installation: Install safety systems, including wire systems and abseiling equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure systems are fully compliant with industry standards.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients professionally, ensuring their needs are met and systems are installed or repaired to their satisfaction.
- Travel and Onsite Work: Primarily work across London, with occasional travel to locations as far north as Liverpool/Manchester.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing safety wire systems and abseiling systems.
- A strong understanding of safety standards and regulations.
- Technical qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid UK driving license (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home for projects.
