Are you an immediately available Employee Relations Specialist with experience of leading on investigations? Do you live in the Kent area and are able to start a new role at short notice?
I am working exclusively with Kent Fire and Rescue Service on interim Employee Relation Specialist role, where you will support the organisation during a busy period and go through an audit. The role involves overseeing the ER team , advising them and offering support when needed.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) is a forward-thinking, modern fire and rescue service that aims to create a safer future for Kent and Medway.
Located close to the town of Maidstone, you will be able to work for the organisation on a hybrid basis, going into the office which is a listed building 3-days per week. There is free on site parking for all staff.
The Employee Relations Specialist paying up to £365 per day through an umbrella company is an ongoing interim post for around 3-months. The key responsibilities of the role include.
- Taking on caseload, including investigations and coordinating and supporting hearings.
- Finalising policy rewrites
- Designing and delivering training to hearing chairs when required.
- Supporting the team on a daily basis, upskilling the team where possible.
This role will suit a project focused ER specialist with the confidence to come in and make an immediate impact. You will play a key role during an important time as they go through an audit that takes place every four years.
The interview process will consist of a 1-stage face-to face interview located at their office in Maidstone.
