Location: Home based with ad hoc hot desking in Maidstone

Salary: £55k - £70k depending on experience

This business is a leading FMCG/consumer goods business who have been on a unique journey of organic growth and acquisitions on an International scale over the past 3 years. This growth and scale up is ongoing and there are lots of exciting projects in the pipeline.

They are looking for an Assistant to the CCO; someone who has worked within the commercial departments of fast paced, FMCG/Consumer goods businesses where retailers or wholesalers are the end customer. They are NOT looking for an Executive Assistant.

You will need to understand the terminology used in these businesses and be confident at communicating with a wide range of people across the business.

The Assistant to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will play a vital role in supporting the CCO with daily commercial operations, strategic initiatives, and project management. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to have the ability to know who to speak to, to get the information required by the CCO. You will know what good looks like, and have the ability to get the correct information from the business for reporting and the preparation of presentations.

About you:

  • Experience gained within a commercial departments/backgrounds is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a very fast-paced environment.
