Group Legal & Company Secretarial Executive Assistant

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Group Legal & Company Secretarial Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive legal and company secretarial administration duties. This role involves supporting the Chairman and the Clerk to the Corporation, as well as providing administrative and diary management support to the Principal and CEO, Group Executive Team, and Board members.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Organise and manage all aspects of meetings for the Group, including scheduling, collating papers, and arranging hospitality.
  • Draft and edit reports, letters, and papers to a high standard.
  • Maintain an annual timetable and calendar for all group meetings and committees.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Facilitate communication on Governing Body matters and assist in the production of the Principal's report.
  • Coordinate administrative processes for recruiting and appointing Corporation Members, including arranging inductions and training.
  • Support the Clerk in overseeing policy review schedules and assist in governance audits and self-assessment planning.
  • Provide administrative support for all College and Group meetings, including maintaining governance sections on Sharepoint and updating Companies House records.
  • Manage the diaries of the Group Principal and the Chair, arrange travel, and handle meeting preparations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in legal and company secretarial duties.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Sharepoint and Meeting Squared.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience in governance and compliance, including Data Protection.
