Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Factory Operative for a permanent position within an Engineering Company.
Candidates with previous factory or manufacturing experience are preferred, but full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include processing parts, manual handling, band saw operation, and shot blasting.
The role requires a 40-hour work week, with Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The hourly pay rate is £11.59, with opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate and potential for career advancement.

We are recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an Engineering Company on a permanent basis.

Ideally you will have previous factory/ manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided.

Your main duties will include:

Processing of parts in accordance with Works Instruction.
Filing of castings/moulded parts using compressed air driven hand grinding tools
Manual Handling
Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
Band saw operation
Shot blasting/etching of castings
Completing the relevant job cards

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 07:30am - 1:30pm.

The hourly pay rate is £11.59 per hour pus overtime at an enhanced rate.
