Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Factory Operative for a permanent position within an Engineering Company.
Previous factory or manufacturing experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include processing parts, manual handling, and general housekeeping tasks.
The role offers a pay rate of £11.59 per hour, with opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate.
This position requires no specific years of experience, making it suitable for both experienced and entry-level candidates.

We are recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an Engineering Company on a permanent basis.

Ideally you will have previous factory/ manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided.

Your main duties will include:

Processing of parts
Filing of castings/moulded parts using hand grinding tools
Manual Handling
Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
Shot blasting/ water blasting
Completing the relevant job cards

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 07:30am - 1:30pm.

The hourly pay rate is £11.59 per hour plus overtime at an enhanced rate.
