Chartered Financial Planner - manage existing HNW clients from a retiring adviser - Location: Offices close to Maidstone, Kent - Package: Salary: £70k - £100k (negotiable) + bonuses

A chartered independent wealth planning firm with offices around the Kent region is my customer. They provide HNW retirees, accumulators, neighbourhood families, and SME owners based in Sussex, Kent, and London with whole of market financial advice. They currently oversee the affairs of 1000 clients, whose fortunes range from £200k to £5 million. The advisors offer advice on investments, pensions, cash flow modelling, tax planning, retirement planning, safeguards, and a few obscure programmes like VCT and EIS plans. They have a long-standing relationship with accounting and law firms that send business to them; advisers are not singled out because they firmly believe in providing clients with the finest service possible rather than increasing AUM.

The company has received multiple accolades, participates actively in neighbourhood events, and supports a wide range of philanthropic causes. They prioritise exceedingly high client satisfaction, which leads to an extremely high retention rate and relationships that can span more than 20 years. The support team is made up of a skilled group of paraplanners and administrators from two offices who are actively encouraged to grow as professionals and people through industry tests and continuous CPD.

A Chartered Financial Planner or close IFA close to qualifying is needed for a brand-new post that the Managing Director is creating. This person will be in charge of managing a portion of the adviser's current book of business, which is predominantly headquartered in Kent and comes from a retiring adviser. A candidate with experience working with complicated issues and in an independent wealth planning firm would be a good fit for this servicing post. Along with a professional Compliance Manager, you will receive specialised admin and paraplanning help.
