We are excited to present a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner to join an independent wealth planning firm located near Maidstone. This servicing role offers the chance to manage a retiring adviser’s book of clients, generating over £250k in revenue, while also taking on clients from the Managing Director’s own portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-established firm that has a strong reputation for providing high-quality, whole-of-market advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, and SME owners across Kent, Sussex, and London. The firm currently manages the affairs of around 400 clients, with assets under management exceeding £200m, and they specialise in pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protection, and business sales.

The role involves managing a portfolio of clients from a retiring adviser, handling revenue of over £250k, and taking on a portion of the Managing Director’s 300 clients to ensure continued service and advice. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients while working closely with a dedicated support team, including administrators and paraplanners, to provide seamless service. The firm is looking for a Financial Planner who has at least five years of advising experience and is either chartered or working towards chartered status. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in providing financial advice, particularly in pensions, investments, tax planning, and retirement planning. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a client-centric approach, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively. A genuine desire to build relationships and grow the firm’s portfolio will be key to success in this role.

This position offers a competitive salary range of £70k - £100k (negotiable based on experience), with bonuses paid at 30% above x3 validation. In addition to the salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including a pension, death in service, a medical cash plan, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and full paraplanning and administration support. Hybrid working options are available, providing flexibility for the right candidate. If you're an experienced Financial Planner seeking a rewarding role with a respected firm that values client service over AUM stacking, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
