We are currently recruiting for a diploma-qualified Paraplanner aiming to progress into an advisor role for our Kent-based client. This firm has been providing straightforward independent financial advice in the Kent area for many years, earning a solid reputation with clients and local professional services firms, which contribute to a steady stream of new business enquiries. They offer a holistic, non-jargon-based approach to advice, taking the time to understand clients on both professional and personal levels. Due to organic growth, they are now seeking a Paraplanner interested in advancing to an advisory role.

As a privately owned firm of independent Financial Advisers, they focus on investments, retirement planning, protection, intergenerational guidance, and IHT. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a Paraplanner role and be diploma-qualified or close to achieving it. They seek individuals with flexibility, a positive attitude, and a strong team ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide paraplanning support for qualified advisers.
  • Conduct product and solution research.
  • Write and review reports, design report templates.
  • Administer and maintain client files.
  • Obtain illustrations from product providers.
  • Complete and issue client application forms and illustrations.
  • Assist with compliance and money laundering functions.
  • Conduct file audits.
