The client:

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, growing Plant engineer company on their search for an experienced small tools fitter to join their growing team.



The package:

The Duties:

· Inspect and repair small hand tools, power tools, and light machinery (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, compressors).

· Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and safety of tools.

· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in small tools and equipment.

· Conduct testing and quality checks on tools after repair or servicing.

· Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.

The Requirements:

· Previous experience working in the Plant industry.

· Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)

· Experience working with small tools performing repairs and maintenance work.

· Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience.

· Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
