Our client, a respected name in food production based in the Maidstone area, is seeking a dedicated Hygiene Technician to join their evening shift team.

About the role:

As a Hygiene Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping the production environment spotless and compliant. You’ll dismantle and deep-clean machinery, carry out essential maintenance, and ensure all equipment is safely reassembled and ready for use.

Your hours:

3:00pm or 4:00pm start - finishing at 12:30am (8-9 hour shifts), full-time evenings

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in hygiene, sanitation, or cleaning, preferably in food production or manufacturing
  • Understanding of COSHH and food safety regulations
  • Ability to safely dismantle, clean, and reassemble machinery
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, fast-paced work
  • Team player with strong communication skills

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience within fresh produce or fruit handling
  • Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above)
  • Basic mechanical or engineering knowledge

Pay & Perks:

Starting rate of £14.00 per hour, paid weekly. Pay is subject to review after a 12-week probationary period based on performance and reliability. PPE is provided, and you’ll be supported with training and ongoing development.
