Job: General Foreman
Location: Leeds
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Are you an experienced General Foreman looking for your next challenge? My client, a leading civil engineering company operating across Northern England, has an opportunity based in Leeds for a General Foreman to join the team and oversee key infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervising and coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring smooth progress of work and adherence to project schedules.
·Managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
·Monitoring health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure a safe and compliant site.
·Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely progress and successful delivery of projects.
·Overseeing the setting out of works, ensuring that all tasks are executed as per design specifications.
·Ensuring the availability of materials, plant, and equipment to keep the project moving efficiently.
Requirements:
·Proven experience in supervising civil engineering projects, particularly highways or infrastructure works.
·Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams.
·SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
·Excellent organisational and communication skills.
·Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
·Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) certification is beneficial but not essential.
Package:
