Forklift DriverCounter balance Forklift driving experienceSalary: £24,000 per annumMonday to Friday 8am- 5pm (No weekends)
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe handling and movement of goods using a forklift. Your main duties will include loading and unloading vehicles, organising stock in the warehouse, and ensuring accuracy in inventory management.
Requirements:
- Valid counter balance forklift driving licence
- Proven experience operating a forklift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
Duties:
- Picking drums / cartons / jerrycan to client specification
- Banding / Strapping / Wrapping shipments following in house processes and ADR regulations
- Attaching correct documentation to shipment following the preparation instructions
- Use of computer systems to print labels, overpack and confirming correct quantities have been received
- Experience using counterbalance fork trucks and PT's
- Putting away shipments into country lines from inbound shuttle
- Scanning all shipments into hub
- Working closely with logistics and other warehouse teams to ensure all freight is ready for loading
- Keeping warehouse clean and tidy
- Training program is provided and ADR / Dangerous goods training
