I am seeking a Sea Freight Operator to join my clients award winning team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the sea freight industry, strong attention to detail and knowledge of importing and exporting processes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities as a Freight Coordinator:
- Manage the entire process of freight coordination including both exports and imports.
- Coordinate and oversee customs clearance procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information.
- Liaise with clients, carriers, and third parties to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.
- Maintain compliance with all regulations and internal policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills for the Freight Coordinator role:
- A dynamic individual with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs – Grade A-C (or equivalent).
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Motivated to learn and grow within the industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the sea freight industry is essential.
