DKF is seeking an Experienced Occupational Hygienist to become part of one of our independent occupational hygiene consultancy clients located in Kent and it’s neighbouring regions. Established in 2002, our client is a reputable consultancy that prioritises quality and provides a comprehensive range of services to several prominent clients across various sectors.

The position is primarily site-based, necessitating considerable travel across the UK, from the client’s headquarters based in the South East. Additionally, flexibility is essential to manage occasional weekend and after-hours work commitments.

What your core responsibilities would be:

· Performing site assessments and monitoring sites.

· Reporting the findings plus including drawings.

· Meeting client deadlines by given date.

· Liaising with clients and other parties involved.

· Support in the training of additional occupational hygienists.

· General tasks necessary to assist the department.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:

· You should be working towards or have achieved the BOHS Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene.

· Full UK driving licence.

· Enhanced DBS check (will be completed through induction stage if successful).

· Previous experience working as a lead occupational hygienist.

· Proficient in analysing technical data and producing high-quality technical reports.

· Effective time management skills, along with punctuality and reliability, are essential for meeting client deadlines.

· Able to communicate effectively with clients verbally and via email/in writing.

· Ensure that you conduct yourself in a professional and friendly manner and able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a readiness to assist the team.
