Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fettling Night Operative for our client based in the Medway Towns area. This is a full-time position for the successful candidate.Monday to Thursday 6am-6pm (46 hours per week)Job Duties Include:- Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant Technique card and Works Instruction.- Fettling of castings using compressed air-driven hand grinding tools- Manual Handling- Moving boxes of castings around the factoryThe post holder may also be required to undertake the following tasks on occasion:- Linishing of castings using an upright linishing machine- Etching of castings through the use of a compressed air-driven vibro-etching tool- Shot blasting of castings using aluminium grit- Band-saw operationHealth and Safety* Correct use of PPE at all times* Knowledge of chemicals used as stipulated in the departments' COSHH assessment and Material Safety Data SheetsClear understanding and awareness of the relevant Risk AssessmentsIf you are available and currently looking for work, please contact Paul on or email your CV Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for the permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
