About the Role

Reporting to the HR Director, you will lead a proactive HR team, ensuring a blend of strategic and operational HR delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • HR Modernisation - Implement best practices in performance management, engagement, and recognition.
  • HR Systems Implementation - Play a key role in the rollout of a new HRIS system.
  • Union Relations & Case Management - Navigate a highly unionised environment.
  • Job Evaluation & Compensation - Ideally experienced in Hay job evaluation, working closely with senior leadership on remuneration strategies.
  • Strategic HR Leadership - Drive meaningful change while remaining hands-on with day-to-day HR operations.

Generalist HR Expertise- A well-rounded HR leader with experience in a unionised, industrial environment.Industrial & Employee Relations- Strong understanding of union dynamics, case management, and consultation processes.Commercial & Strategic Thinking- Exposure to commercial HR practices while balancing operational HR needs.Autonomous & Action-Oriented- A confident decision-maker who thrives in a self-sufficient leadership role.
