The role

Are you someone who loves connecting with people and enjoys the thrill of guiding them through a seamless onboarding experience? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator to join our dynamic recruitment team. This team is the face of the organisation, dealing with high volumes, tight turn arounds and legally binding documents. Therefore, you should be comfortable with ensuring that you can work at pace while still maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with legal and organisational standards.

As our Onboarding Coordinator, you'll be the friendly face and reassuring voice that new hires turn to for guidance. You'll manage the entire onboarding process, from the moment a verbal offer is accepted until the first day of employment, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into our organisation.

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Conducting pre-employment checks, including background checks, reference checks, and right-to-work verification.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure all onboarding materials and information are ready for new hires.
  • Making regular 'keep warm' calls to maintain engagement with candidates as their central contact throughout the process.
  • Communicating with new hires about company policies, benefits, and other relevant details.
  • Maintaining accurate onboarding records and track key metrics to help us continuously improve.
  • Building and issuing contracts according to the details of the role offered, necessitating meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

Location: Ashford, Ipswich or Norwich, with opportunities for hybrid working

Hours Available: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
