In this role, you will be responsible for the safe handling and movement of goods using a forklift. Your main duties will include loading and unloading vehicles, organising stock in the warehouse, and ensuring accuracy in inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Valid counter balance forklift driving licence
  • Proven experience operating a forklift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks

Duties:

  • Picking drums / cartons / jerrycan to client specification
  • Banding / Strapping / Wrapping shipments following in house processes and ADR regulations
  • Attaching correct documentation to shipment following the preparation instructions
  • Use of computer systems to print labels, overpack and confirming correct quantities have been received
  • Experience using counterbalance fork trucks and PT's
  • Putting away shipments into country lines from inbound shuttle
  • Scanning all shipments into hub
  • Working closely with logistics and other warehouse teams to ensure all freight is ready for loading
  • Keeping warehouse clean and tidy
  • Training program is provided and ADR / Dangerous goods training
