Role: Year End Accountant
Location: Fully Remote with occasional presence on site
Rate: £400 to £500 per day
Duration: 4 months minimum (with potential extension)
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant for our Local Authority client. This is a crucial, new role within the structure and gives the successful applicant the chance to add real value to the existing team during a crucial time of year. This role will be ideal for a candidate with commercial experience as it will be supporting on the closure of accounts for the local authorities trading companies.
Key responsibilities of the Year End Accountant:
- Support with Year End Closure
- Auditing
- Commercial Experience
- Preparing Financial Statements
- Reconciliations / Balance Sheets.
The successful Year End Accountant will have the following skills and attributes:
- Advanced excel skills
- Commercial / Private Sector experience
- Must be task orientated
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Part Qualified as a minimum, however ideally fully qualified.
