Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) has an exciting opportunity available for a Health and Safety Administrator to join our team in Maidstone. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a base salary of  £26,457 - £29,339 per annum, depending upon experience. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office (with travel countrywide, based on needs).

About the Health and Safety Administrator role:

As our Health and Safety Administrator, you will work with a variety of people across Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS), building trusted relationships with stakeholders and provide a reliable, efficient, and effective administration service to the Health and Safety Team.

Working closely with KFRS Health and Safety Advisors you will provide valuable administrative expertise to managers and colleagues alike.

What you'll do as our Health and Safety Administrator:

  • Work with colleagues to deliver a customer focused service
  • Deliver efficient specialist administration support to the team
  • Complete and maintain the administration process of documentation relating to health and safety incident reports
  • Arrange and take notes at meetings, co-ordinate invitations, manage diaries and ensure agendas and other documents are distributed
  • Manage the shared mailbox for the team by recording all reported incidents and directing these to a Health and Safety Advisor for investigation
