About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to inspire students in the exciting world of science. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics that spark curiosity and deepen students' understanding of the natural world. You'll create lesson plans that make complex scientific concepts accessible, and guide students in developing practical skills through hands-on experiments. You will bring subject expertise, enthusiasm, and a commitment to inspiring young minds in scientific exploration and discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters a passion for science.
- Utilise diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct and supervise lab activities, ensuring student safety while promoting hands-on learning.
- Assess student progress through regular assignments, tests, and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback.
- Build a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and curiosity.
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status or strong experience teaching Science (Chemistry is preferred but not essential)
A passion for education and working with children.
